Instructor-led training
Confluent's own course is the most thorough way to learn the platform, with labs and an instructor you can ask. At USD 2,000 it usually makes sense when your employer pays, and keep in mind that it teaches Kafka in general more than the exam.
Video courses
Video courses suit people who learn by watching, but revising from tens of hours of video is slow. Check when a course was last updated, because the exam has changed since 2020.
What to look for in any course
- Material that has been updated recently, since the exam has changed since Confluent's 2020 blueprint.
- Practice questions that explain the answer.
- Full mock exams you can take in 90 minutes.
- Proper coverage of Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams and Schema Registry as well as producers and consumers.
